The legend behind the song. Pandas were white as snow where they lived in a forest of bamboo poles. As they munched on bamboo, they grew bigger and rounder. As they both perched on a bamboo pole, it started to bend. One panda hopped of causing the pole to spring upward launching the other panda into an arched flight. He landed on his paws in a pool of dark mud. His four paws became black from the sticky dark mud. He rubbed his eyes and his ears which became black from the mud. That’s how white panda got blotches of black.
